How much does a new kitchen cost in Johannesburg?
R80,000 for a cosmetic refresh, R150,000-R350,000 for standard, R350,000+ for high-spec. Custom joinery and stone tops drive most of the variance.
Can I cook while you renovate?
Usually no - the kitchen is the working zone for 4-6 weeks. We can set up a temporary kitchen elsewhere if needed.
Do I have to choose cabinetry now?
No, but the sooner you do, the sooner we lock in lead times. Cabinetry is the long-lead item - 4-6 weeks from order to install.
Can you keep the existing layout?
Yes, and we often recommend it. Keeping the plumbing and electrics where they are saves R30,000-R60,000.
Do you supply appliances?
We can - and often get trade pricing. Or you can supply your own; we install them.
What if the plumbing or electrics are old?
We'll flag it during the site visit. Replacing back-of-wall infrastructure is cheaper now than after the cabinetry is in.
